Spirit Airlines file for Chapter 11 again, Middle East Airlines considers a LCC service in Beirut, it's nearly time for World Routes, and will China ever order those 500 Airbus'?

Spirit Airlines has filed for Chapter 11 again, twice in a year, which must be a concern since it implies the first recovery plan failed, so what chance for the second? The US domestic market has undoubtedly softened, and the key question is, does the market need Spirit, or would the loss of their capacity benefit others?

Apparently, Middle East Airlines - Air Liban is looking to start a low-cost airline based in #Beirut. Quite how they believe they can compete in the market seems a big ask and a lot of cash for no return. Will the carrier ever take off? Watch this space.

Airports are in the final stages of planning for Routes, and if anyone needs any last-minute data and support, then let us know and we can see what we can do!

Austria is currently #Ryanair’s least loved markets which takes some doing given what they think of the French and German authorities😆 Calls for reduced tax on travel are a no-brainer, and constant ATC delays are frustrating the hashtag#airline.

China edges ever closer to ordering some 500 Airbus Aircraft that will then be “gifted” to various airlines over the next few years. Quite how the Chinese carriers can be in competition when they all receive airlines from the Government as and when told is quite the mystery.
