Has anyone seen Global Airlines? Airbus' potential impressive order from China, and can we talk about Wizz Air?

But first, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) AGM confirmed that for the industry, it looks like being another great year, with most regions outperforming 2024 results. It’s a strange members group #IATA, when they want, they talk about the whole industry despite being a membership group, but what proportion of their members are profitable? Half, three-quarters, or even less?

Global Airlines appear to have left the scheduled #airline market after two flights....! A classic tale of egos in the #airline industry, with very poor advice throughout the start-up process. Turning to leases and ACMI operations seems another poor idea, and maybe just dropping the whole idea would make sense...?

IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) has deepened its relationship with SkyTeam, with further long-haul routes set to start this year. The airline's growth pace continues, as it also announces services from new airports in #Delhi and #Mumbai at the end of the year.

And is it President Trump's planned meeting with Xi JinPing as much about the risk of being shut out of the commercial aircraft market? Airbus is expected to announce a massive order with #China in the next few weeks, which would be another embarrassing development for Boeing.

And finally, a really bad week for Wizz Air. A 25% reduction in their share price and a poor set of financials. It’s easy to point fingers at the engine issues and subsequent fleet groundings, but is there more to the numbers than just that issue?
